Hand-printed Linoleum print on quality paper, 4×6 inches, color optional.
This linoleum print came to me as an idea over the summer following my first year at art school. I was fishing every week and of course bass were my most common catch. In my first year I learned so much about mark-making and how to make a successful print, I experimented until I finished this one, combining the two!

Throughout my summer before college I visited my hometown’s lake many times. I got so much inspiration from the calm and the busy, whether it was sunny or rainy, day or night. I also loved bringing my jeep and seeing how the water and light reflected off of the hood of the car. I hope you can enjoy my experience through this print.
About the artist
Hi! My name is Lauren Chermesino and I am a student at Rhode Island School of Design getting my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. I am originally from a small town in Massachusetts but am currently living in Providence, RI.
In my work, I use a range of mediums, from oil or acrylic paint to colored pencils, charcoal, and pastels. I love to work in realism or surrealism, expanding my technical skills while also experimenting with more.
I grew up loving all forms of art, but painting has always been my medium of choice. I create to bring joy to my life and others, and I hope you will follow me in that journey!
